Default US Spa's

Gotta rave about the Marriott Camelback Inn in Phx...

My sister came out for a visit this weekend and our theme was SPA and SHOP! we accomplished both and she's now on her way back to the two kids well rested, sushi in her tummy and with some new clothes and shoes.

We stayed at the Marriott for a night and spent the entire day at the spa on friday and apparently, she'd never been to a spa like this before....I have as I've been to the Desert Ridge Marriott which has the Revive Spa, world renowned....I'd have to say that the two spas are very similar in service but the Desert Ridge, being newer, had a little more prestige IMO. Albiet, i can't admit that i would never again go to the Camelback spa, i'd go back in a second once i save up the $$ needed to take in a theraputic massage and body wrap again. haha

but i would recommend the Marriott Camelback if you need to get away, if you need some peace and quiet, your own patio area (all of the rooms are "casitas") and if you need some serious spa work and pampering....they do an excellent job of getting you to that stress free point.

My sister and I decided that we're going to try and save up the $$ such that we can go to a different JW resort or leading "spa" every 6 months... whether she comes out here or i go over to her or we meet somewhere in the middle... we both need this more often and it really does work!

now, i have to admit that the house is awfully quiet and i'm in for week+ of cats and quiet....not too sure i'm going to enjoy that this time around.

Anyways, does anyone else have any spa's they want to rave about and/or recommend (they can be in or outside of the US)?? we're not going to go to the same spa's all the time, we'd like to get out and about and try new everytime we get together.....
