I may be up there in the next few months visiting my girlfriend that STILL lives in Charles Town. We'll have to get together!
Do you rememeber what Dulles used to look like 20 years ago? The mobile lounges use to take you to the planes. The airport itself has changed a lot even since DH stopped working there in 2005.

I remember when my neighborhood was in the middle of the woods. Nothing else was around and no one really knew we were back there. Now there are all these neighborhoods around it, and Fairfax Co Parkway goes right next to it. Its nothing like it was when I was a kid. I remember when that part of Fairfax and Loudoun countries were countryish.

Let me know if you come, and we can meet up! Who did your DH work for out of Dulles? My DH worked for ACA out of Dulles before Continental.

Thanks ladies for all the dc tips. We had a great weekend. Walked around the Mall and saw the monuments. Went to the Air and Space museum and Natural History museum. They had some of the popular articles from the american history museum on display in the air and space museum, so we still got to see dorothy's shoes and abe lincolns hat. The spy museum was a lot of fun. There is an interactive spy mission that you can do that was a blast. I highly recommend (kids have to be 12 and older). Also the metro system was very easy and much cleaner than the chicago system, i was impressed.
