Default L.A.- What a fun town

Just got back from my long weekend of visiting my brother and sister-in-law in L.A. Wonderful to spend time with family, including my goddog, Ruby.

We did the Walk of Fame. Very tourist thing to do, but hey I really had a good time with it. We were at the right time for the unveiling of the new star. We drove through Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Went up the PCH to Venic Beach, Santa Monica, and Malibu. We spent a day at Universal. I am a chicken, but rode every ride/attraction. We spent the morning on Santa Monica Pier, rode the roller coaster (with my eyes closed, hehehe) and the ferris wheel.

California is the perfect mix of of mountains and beaches. The temp in L.A. was wonderful. A very hip place to be.

It is a great place! There's so much so close... You can literally so surfing and skiing on the same day! There's so much variety, especially if you venture just beyond LA to Orange County, San Diego, San Bernardino... I loved it all so much, I moved here.

Next time come up the coast to Monterey and beyond! We have lots to do here w/o all the glitz, glam, and hustle bustle of LA. Big Sur! Monterey Bay Aquarium! Cannery Row! Santa Cruz! Redwood groves! Pebble Beach! Wineries! Catch this area on a sunny day and its GORGEOUS!
