| My vote would be for Scotland too. If you're not able to go there you could always come to Hebron, Kentucky. But then again, I don't know if you would be able to handle the fun! Some days I can't!!!! ![]() Jen |

Also I found out that if I am moving on, I will need to go through a 3rd interview which will be a role play! I can't take it! Thanks for asking!

you know i'd love to have you come to oktoberfest with us... if we could find you a roomie, i'd book you a room at the same hotel we're gonna be at but I'm thinking with saving up $$ for wedding and house, you definitely don't want that hotel room expense to be all your own (esp with the euro 50% higher than our dollar). We were debating last night on switching the weekend to the following weekend but after looking at the schedule, we can't cuz doug starts an istanbul trip that sunday. ouch! It's probably too late for Nick to try and trade for a germany trip isn't it? I know it would be for doug.

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | Well Jen, I've never been to Kentucky! I think I'm going to try for Scotland. There are 80 seats getting there and 25 (so far) coming home on Nick's flight. Nobody is listed yet on the flights! OK, we'll see how this goes. Lauren- I'll check out the place you mentioned. I won't have much time to play in Scotland so I'll probably have to go back. It will be fun to finally be on one of his flights since starting with CAL.

He got his sched for Oct and he has a lot of 'bad' trips he wants to trade and lots of IRO, plus recurrent (if that's what it's called). It looks like it will be good for me to try to get on this one since the next month doesn't look to good for me joining him.

25 is good unless a SkyTeam member's flight cancels or is delayed and people miss an earlier flight and get rebooked on this. But if weather is good, chances of that are lessened. Have fun!

Oh well, I guess that's part of the adventure. I built in an extra day off from work just in case I need to stay over another night in EDI. Wish me luck!

| And remember to look at alternatives. Can you get from there to somewhere else that will get you home. My favorite example is when I sent our son to Space Camp in Florida. I took him down, we stayed in the hotel and drove there the next morning. We went through orientation and I drove back and left to go home (kicking and screaming because I wanted to stay there and have fun too!). Fine. Then a week later I flew down to pick him up. I got to the hotel then drove to his graduation. We hung out in Orlando, went to Sea World and had a great time. The next day we wanted to go home. Well very early 757's were way over booked and had a gazillion non-revs listed (although our seniority was pretty good--but they were overbooked to begin with and that is not good). But, there was a 2 PM flight to Columbus, Ohio. There was a 6 PM or so flight to Philly. I asked our son--do you want to get up at o'dark thirty to try to get on an overbooked flight that is non stop to home? And we would have checked out of the hotel so there are no options for going back. Or do you want to sleep in, go to the pool and have a nice lunch and go on an adventure? He opted for the latter and we got home without a fuss. It was funny though because the flight attendants loved his rockets and stuff and had great conversations with him. It impacted them because they announced that the flight was going to Philly instead of Columbus! Anyway, remember there is more than one way to get someplace!
