I can't say how incredibly "hott" it is to have a wife that actually wants to tag along on layovers! Daddy'll text you on the way back to the hotel! The relief FO is a former DFW guy that's cool. Be ready to stay up late!

I hope you are not referring to Amanda as "dood"! LOL!

Anyway, it sounds like you're having a great time and that's terrific!

Hope you make it to Baltimore--it's looking to be a big group!

Sorry, we've got guests at my house that have to get up to go fly at 5 AM so we won't be staying up late to catch your text! I'm glad you're enjoying your trip. I'll be doing a layover with my DH on Tuesday. But I'm driving to it as I fly too much for work to want to fly for that kind of adventure! I fly so much for work that I don't want to fly so much for pleasure unless it's on a space positive ticket planned in advance. I guess it's all about your own perspective on things....DH hates flying beyond what he needs to fly also. So we are together in our opinions about this. I've been to Paris for breakfast and beyond. Now I'm on to another phase in life. It's all about phases!

Enjoy!

PS--not sure what that picture was that was supposed to impress me! Tell me what it is so I can be impressed!

Of course I'm referring to Amanda as "Dood" as she's cool! She's just got to GET OFF HER ASS AND TRAVEL MORE WITH US beyond Zurich!

You girls should travel with us, it's a lot of fun!

I'm doing a six-day JFK-FRA-CVG-FRA-JFK trip where Kristie flew from JFK-FRA stayed for afew days and will be traveling with us from FRA-JFK with us and then back home to PHX and we're all excited! She's got a bit night ahead for her when we get back to Germany and heaven's hopes she's well rested!

The excellent thing about having your wife with you on a long trip is that (a) she's with you, (b) she has a killer time and (c) she has a fantastic time which allows for more (b)!

OK I'm totally confused. Kristie referred to Amanda as "Dood". Now you are saying it was you? But, Amanda is not a "Dood"! I've never, ever heard that reference to a female!

We have been around the block about how great it is to travel if you can and when you can. But that's not the reality for many on this board. I hope to meet you in person sometime so we can further this discussion because I am certain that you never would intend to upset members!

Either way. Community property and all! I think she's adopted the "Doogie"-esque language method.

Man! (dude?!)... I could go for some schnitzel!!!

Believe me I wish I could travel more but it is almost impossible to try to fly with Nick since his trips have been pretty short and I don't have a ton of vacation time left at work. I need to be careful that I don't use all my vacation time now and then be sorry in December! If I fly without Nick I need to figure a way to save money on hotel since it's expensive to stay at a place myself.

I'm also stressing since I'm going to have a BIG work interview 9/13. After that's over I will be ready to fly off somewhere. For now I am spending a lot of my time prepping.

I'll be back out on the road with you guys later this fall!
