| Hi, I'm off to Las Vegas next week with work and I'm lucky enough to be taking DH with me !!!! I'd really like to take him see the Grand Canyon, Can anyone recommend whether to fly (helicopter) from Vegas or to get a coach/bus? I just want to experience it in the best way!!! DH also loves Celine Dion, I've been looking into buying tickets from here, but shipping costs and taxes really shoot the price up, so if anyone knows of a good place where I can buy them in Vegas, that would be fantastic. If you've got any good tips on amazing shows or great things to do/see, please let me know. Even though I'm working, I really want to cram as much in as possible as I don't know if I'll ever get back. I'm working for 4 days and 4 days free!!!! ![]() I'm excited now!!! Problem is going to be concentrating on the work side of things!!! Thanks Heaps! Mary x |

| There will be 25,000 Human Resources professionals in Las Vegas next week! But I won't be one of them! Have a great time! |

| Jetgirls Member | Have a great trip! You'll probably be able to pick up both sets of tickets from the concierge in your hotel. As I recall, almost all of the big hotels had a desk dedicated to getting show tickets and the like. Check in with them once you get there. The helicopter trip might be much more expensive than a bus trip, but will also take less time (1/2 day vs. full day) and will be much more memorable. Kim

| Thanks EastBayK, I'll make friends with the conceirge! Think I will go for a helicopter flight, I bet it will be amazing, have to dig into the house decorating fund!! Still it will be worth it as we won't be going to Vegas every day!!! |

Ditto... I would wait until you get there, see what's available and on what nights. Sometimes you can get really good deals on those tickets. They also love to get you with the timeshare deals, so if you want some free show tickets and are willing to be held captive for a few hours by salespeople, that's another way to do things! We saw the Blue Man Group on my first trip to Vegas & really liked them. I've been wanting to see a Cirque de Soleil show, but haven't had the opportunity. If you're planning on playing any table games or slots, you can also get a players card which can entitle you to some freebies. Also if you're going to be gambling, wear a watch! It's amazing how fast time goes by when you're being served drinks in a place with no clocks or windows. Have fun!! | ||
