| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | I have a question on departure taxes. This Friday is the 1st time I'll be travelling internationally on CAL (keeping fingers crossed!). Nick said something about having to pay a fee or tax when I get to the airport, and it might have to be cash. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!

| Amanda, It will be payroll deducted if Nick's passes are payroll deducted. All the info is on coair. Go to Pass Travel, then city info, then Glasgow. Jan |

| It depends where you are going, but I think in your case it is deducted. Have fun!

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | Thanks Jan (and Rebecca)! Nick called and said it was paid out of pocket at the airport...which I thought was strange that we would need to pay anything out of pocket.

| Admin/Owner ![]() | yeah, even ours are deducted. are you talking about the taxes themselves or the actual companion fare? only if your using a buddy pass are the taxes included in the buddy pass fare. i think...and if CAL's companion pass is similar to the buddy pass system then whatever your fare is should already be including those taxes.

| We used to have to pay cash/check only with US Airways. And you couldn't do it at the ticket counter--it had to be in special services. What a pain! But that was many moons ago, perhaps they've updated since then! |
