| Admin/Owner ![]() | My DH (whose webmaster/creator/owner at jetcareers.com) just started up something new this week... it's called "pictures from the road 2.0".. it's a webpage where he send his camera photos to while he's on the road.. kind of an insiders view to life as a pilot and the daily tribulations that they go thru traveling etc etc.. you can find it at http://pix.jetcareers.com I'm working on one for us wives (so the husbands can see what's going on when they're gone since they typically have no clue and vice versa), so i'm wondering - who all has digital cameras and/or camera phones? If you like, doug and I are offering to "make your own pixboard".. so if you want one of your own, let me know! |

| We have a Cannon something or other....I don't have the camera in front of me right now, so I'm not sure of the model. I also have a Sprint camera that attaches to my phone and sends the pictures to the internet. Its a pain to use though....I'd rather stick to my digital. I usually save my pics as jpeg files....does that help? |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | yup! you'll have to have them at no bigger than 640x480 in size in order to get them uploaded (I think - i have to check with doug on that!)...but what type of digital card are you using - a compactflash card? and do you have easy connection to the computer from your camera? as long as you can save the file on your computer - then all you have to do is email it to the email address that'll be set up.... |

| Oh that sounds easy enough! I'm not sure what size the pictures are, but it can't be that difficult to change! (I hope!) :? Our camera doesn't have a card....I plug the whole camera into the computer and it imports all of the pictures into the software (ZoomBrowser) and then I save them as jpegs. Its actually very easy....I take pictures of Ben all of the time and send them to Jason while he is travelling, so once I figure out what size they are I should be able to do this, right??? Oh I'm so excited! I'm feeling all tech savvy now! (don't worry, I know I am still clueless!) BTW, has anyone seen (or used) one of thoes cameras that has a mini printer that you carry along with it? I think maybe HP makes one? I saw it on "Oprah" once on her "favorite things" show.....you set the camera in the printer and it prints out 3 x 5 prints.....we've been thinking about researching these.....any info or experience with these? Thanks! |
