| ok,,, so Bill and I got tickets to the Florida vs Ohio State game from his dad for christmas. We have been planning this trip for over a month now. When the final bids came out for January,,, his duty out time on the 6th was at 634pm,,,, well, that's no good because the flight that we wanted to be on to Vegas left ATL at 832. So,,, after many failed attempts to swap the trip, he FINALLY found someone at the last minute to pick it up for him (after Bill agreed to pay him 100 bucks!) So the trip that Bill wound up with was PERFECT. His duty out now was scheduled for 0705, which would allow up to meet up with his family for the 830 flight to vegas,,,,,,,BUT NO!!! How about scheduling calls him and extends him 7.5 hours. Needless to say,, I went ahead and flew out here with his family and he is on his way now.... what a bummer! He was sooooo ticked! THe more he tried to sett talk scheduling,, the more they said "no way, you're not getting out of this one" I blew a hundred dollars already at the blackjack table, so I decided to come up to the room,,, rest and wait for him to get here......... should be here in 2 hrs.... Krisite- where should we eat tomorrow night? We are going to Smith and Wollensky tonight and we need some recommendations for tomorrow night. Anyone seen "O"? We have tics for tomorrow night. By the way,,, why is it so dang cold?!?! ![]() |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | we've pretty much eaten at most of the buffets or cafe's since a lot of the actual "restaurants" are a bit too expensive for us. The bellagio buffet and Wynn buffets are really good.. paris's buffet is awesome for lunch cuz it includes the seafood. mgm's buffet is good but i think overpriced. The cafe at the luxor and excalibur are both really good too! and The Grand Lux cafe over in venetian (more of a restaurant than a cafe) is excellent! If you want Sushi, I've heard Nobu is really good (altho i don't remember where it's located)...and doug says there's a really good wing/beer place off the strip up near the Greek Isles hotel (in a shopping center kitty corner from the greek isles). hey - at least it was *only* 7.5 hrs and not 2 extra days!!!! he got lucky with that reroute there.... DAL's been calling doug in reverse scheduling rotation for 3 days now...they need to get cracking on their training schedules if they're calling that often!!
