I'm checking in for a minute... it went pretty well. I was 3 hours early at the airport and there were no lines anywhere. She was terrified going through security so when I took her out of the carrier she clung to me! While we were waiting for the plane we found a secluded spot and I opened up the carrier so she could stand and stretch; she watched the planes and it was pretty cool! On the plane it was fairly empty so we had out own row. The flight attendant said that the cat had to be on the floor which sucked. She was quiet all through the flight except towards the end when she meowed 3 times. The car ride back to my parents went oK but she was getting antsy. When she got to my parent's she went to every single room in the house and rubbed against every corner and piece of furniture. She really is enjoying the big windows and all of the rooms. AND she didn't have an "accident" at any time on the trip too!

I think I am now a distant memory in my cat's memory. She will probably put up a fight when I go to get her back! When I left she was sleeping on her back, purring, and completely content. Jeesh!

She will never forget you! When I gave my cat to my mom and dad, she always remembered my scent and would climb up on the bed to sleep with me.

yup....Doug has a cat over at his mom's house that's his (Sonic) and everytime she goes home, she just loves on him. He won't move her away from where she's been for so many years though simply because his mom got used to taking care of her and because she's an elder cat.

My parents claim that they don't want her but I know they love having something around that they can take care of! My dad brushes her a few times a day which is more than I did. They also feed her way too much but I'm hopefully getting through to them that she will be HUGE and UNHEALTHY!

I'll be taking her back once I get to the East Coast!
My house is too quiet now and lonely!

I thought my house was getting quiet when my cat got older and slept 23.5 hours a day, so I added a Beagle...not anymore!
