So Dh and I were talking about being careful with spending now that we are homeowners, so what do I do....buy a ticket for a weekend trip to Vegas later this month. It is one of my close friend's birthday party. I am going to be exhausted when I get back to school on the Monday after the trip. I talked to DH about it and he supported the trip. Probably knows that I would feel guilty if I didn't go. She invited 2 of us from Illinois out, and one has a new job, so can't get any time off.

Just tell DH to hurry up and build up his hours so that you can get pass privileges!

Don't be like me and continue to pay for tickets when you can USE the travel passes, though. I need to remember that I have that option now and stop spending money!

Don't feel guilty for having a weekend away with the girls... it keeps you sane.

Vegas is a great place to go to celebrate a birthday, though... we went in December for a friend's 30th bday party. Have fun - I expect a full report and lots of pictures!

definately agree with that!! go and have fun... don't worry about things too much and just concentrate on a nice weekend with the gals!

It should be a riot. My friend and I have a blast any time we are together. I'm excited about going to vegas twice in a year, prior to this year I had never been.
