We had a really nice time. It's a crazy place--just like we like it!

We got home last night at about 10 PM. Then we got up at 4 AM for the Race for the Cure. The Race went really well.

Then we got the call. Charlie's mom has had a massive heart attack.

Glad you had a nice trip. Really sorry to hear about his mom. Is she going to be okay?

The number one senior pilot at XJT died a couple of days ago right before going through security on an overnight of a heart attack. Bill did his IOE way back, on the ATR with him and had flown with him a couple times since. He just talked to him a couple weeks ago. He has been pretty bummed out about it. I have heard a lot of people are in shock and disbelief about it. I guess he was an awesome guy and pilot. He was very well liked among the crews and his wife is a F/A. He was only 57 and appeared to be in very good shape. I guess you never know when your time is up and you should cherish every minute you have and not worry about the day to to day junk.

Anyway, hope you are doing well and everything works out okay.

Oh MY! it sounds like you had a great time and are a little light on sleep and yet now, right back into it!! I hope Charlie's mom will be ok!!! Is she in town or do you have to travel out of town again?
