| I would love to go with DH and Mack to Seaside FL for 3 or 4 days, rent a 2 bedroom cottage and just hang out. Problem is, it seems like I will have to pay a pretty penny for it. Anyone vacationed there? Have any tips? Know anyone with vacation rentals in that area? Just trying to find a way to pull it off. I have been there for a day over 10 years ago. It's just a dream. I think it would be the PERFECT family short vacation. Any suggestions appreciated.

| Kimberly- Seaside is TRULY one of the most beautiful places on earth. I grew up in Panama City, which is only about 45 minutes away, and moved back here last summer after being away in Orlando for about 8 years. I love it more now than I did before. DH and I were just over that way last weekend. Sometimes for luch and or shopping or just to check out all the new construction in that area. Ever hear of Watercolor, Rosemary Beach or Grayton Beach? These are all very beautiful as well. Especially Rosemary Beach. Seaside is still at the top of the list though. About accomodations, have you checked Seaside's website? They offer cottage specials quite often, but at the very best, they are still $200.00 a night. One thing you might consider is staying nearby for a couple of nights (that way you still have access to Seaside's ammenities) then stay on Seaside for the pther nights. That way you save some $$. Let me know if I can pick up some brochures or anything for you. When were you planning on coming? RIght now the beaches are very busy. THings will slow down ofcourse, after the summer, and cottage deals may get better. Let me know if I can help with anything. Good Luck. |
