I'm a WINNER!!

so doug and I had this weekend to use for an overseas 4 day trip and loads crapped out on us....we thought of hawaii & cali but it was forcast to rain all weekend.. forget that!

so we decided to drive up to vegas... lo and behold, every other time we're up there, it pays off! I won on 4 2's ($1 video poker), and a 3 wild on stampede (400 quarters) and i won big time on the $5 video poker with 4 King's...over $600 back in my pocket after all was said and done! I even sent the photos to the JC picture page. haha

it was a good weekend! an extra $600 right into my "backyard" fund! $29,400 to go (i think)

oh, we stayed at Monte Carlo and the room was quite nice, altho you could hear fairly well through the walls..the casino there was smaller than alot of the other hotels but it was packed! we ate one night at the Wynn, for $32 a pop (dinner), it was worth it...but man, the Wynn looks just like Bellagio so i thought it was a pretty boring hotel..no real glamour/glitz like i thought there would be for it being "THE" Wynn...

I'd recommend the monte carlo as a good hotel to stay in there.. we paid $147 for sat night and $80 for sun night...
