Red face Need help with words for a gift

I'm gonna get my hubby an ipod for Christmas, and need help deciding what to use for the engraving. I was thinking:

For my flying ace.
I love you very much.

Is it too corny? Anybody got a better idea, something original? I want him to know I love him, something humorous would be ideal...

thanks,
Jan

"To drown out the sounds of my nagging" that kind of humorous? LOL. That's what I would say to my dh if I got him one lol. I'm sure whatever you choose will be just fine!

Whats your limit on characters? Do you have room to put a verse from Fly Me To The Moon?

Fill my life with song
And let me sing forevermore
You are all I hope for
All I worship and adore
In other words please be true
In other words I love you

And, you could fill it with special songs to you guys, and here's a list of flying related songs:

I wanted to engrave this on DHs watch when we were going through tougher aviation times. I always liked this one, but never got it engraved.

"When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it."
Henry Ford

I always liked "When things look dark, look up - and it will probably rain up your nose."

Okay, not very romantic or anything, just had to add that after reading that quote. ;-)

In all seriousness, I googled aviation quotations and found this page which might be helpful: http://www.skygod.com/quotes/quotes.html

Here are some of my favorites:
The engine is the heart of an aeroplane, but the pilot is its soul.
— Sir Walter Raleigh
Pilots are a rare kind of human. They leave the ordinary surface of the word, to purify their soul in the sky, and they come down to earth, only after receiving the communion of the infinite.
— José Maria Velasco Ibarra, President of Ecuador.
If you have flown, perhaps you can understand the love a pilot develops for flight. It is much the same emotion a man feels for a woman, or a wife for her husband.
— Louise Thaden, co-founder of the Ninty-Nines.
