Default So who else is doing turkey day on Friday?

think it's too late to get a turkey tonight and make it on friday? i've heard that you need something like 2-3 days to defrost????

i wonder how many stores will be open tomorrow for pre-black friday sales

i know i saw some last year and was pretty surprised to see folks working on a holiday like this

who all is going shopping on Black Friday? think you can actually get good deals by getting up up at 5am or is it just marked up goods?? thoughts?

I'm working Thursday- serving Thanksgiving dinner to a rich family. Heck I need to make some money to pay my dental bills!

I originally had Friday off so I could shop but because I took off yesterday to get my root canal I'm now working on Friday. I used to love looking through the store ads on Thursday and deciding where to go at the crack of dawn on Black Friday. Now it looks like I have no money for the holidays anyway, so I don't care too much about shopping. Boy I'm such a downer, aren't I?!

Anyway I DO have lots to be thankful for. It's just been a tough time recently! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I'm a guest this year, so no turkey to cook. Just things to take along. DH returns to work tomorrow. And DH is working every weekend this month, so we could not do it on a substitute day. December is weird too--Dec 24-27 working with overnights in ACY every night. I'm so busy at work it doesn't matter!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
