Roz is Perfect and I'm finally Done!

[img]images/graemlins/arms.gif[/img] I have been working on this project for several long weeks and finally finished it. After much trial and error and some help from some of my friends on the internet (including Roz) it's done and came out great. I made a DVD for my father-in-law's birthday (its' a little late), of pictures of our son since he was born. I made the mistake of discovering some new programs on my computer and just had to try them out [img]images/graemlins/874.gif[/img] Anyway, after scanning and editing 300 pictures, downloading pictures from my camera, adding transitions and music, buying the wrong discs 3 times and alot of mistakes, it is finally done [img]images/graemlins/arms.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/arms.gif[/img]
Now I could go for a really cold beer [img]images/graemlins/cheers.gif[/img]

That's fantastic! I'm sure your father-in-law was touched and it will be something to treasure always. My DH has just gotten bitten by a huge digital photography bug, with the nifty neato keen camera to go with it. He takes his camera on every trip and terrorizes our pets with it. I fear how obsessed he will become when we finally have a child! [img]images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-044.gif[/img] You must feel very accomplished! Now, somebody get this girl a beer! Cheers!

Way to go Jan! My part was easy. I only wish I could help you with your other requests--we're too old--original Beatles albums are just that--record albums--some so old they are mono--not even stero! But I have them! Now Evan wants our "record" collection because he respects it! And the modern stylus does not destroy the record the way the old fashioned ones did.

WOW! that is quite an undertaking and i'm sure your father-in-law will absolutely love it and appreciate the effort that you've put forth for this...

I've been working on something like that myself, I just can't seem to find the time to get back in there to finish the dang thing up! one of these days...
