Default DH\'s B-day tomorrow

Hey all, Tomorrow is Bill's B-day, and it will be day three of a 4 day for him. I overnighted a card to him to the hotel but really wanted to do something else. I know he'll be home on Thurs, but considering the time, did anyone else have any ideas? Sucks that we won't be together, I know, get use to it huh?

I'd say just wait for him to get home, so you can do something together.

One thing i've noticed is that sometimes the crew hotels change or they're printed wrong on the rotation (happens every now and then) and if you send something to the hotel, there's always a possibility that he won't get it due to a variety of possiblities like - they could end up at a different hotel, they could be rerouted all together, the delivery could end up late in which case it wouldn't get to him etc etc ...who knows what! so I just stay away from sending anything to the hotels. I just see it as too risky (esp when it involves spending $$) and would rather make sure he gets my gift when he gets home!

plus, it's just more fun to see the looks on their faces when your there together.

oh - but i do always call and sing happy birthday!

yeah, i hear ya, except I already Fed-xed a B-day card to the hotel.
More than anything I wanted him to be able to have something from me on the actualy day. Then we can do something special when he gets back. I actually already got him his gift, which was his flight bag when he finished IOE. So, no more gifts for him, that dang thing was a pocket breaker. I'll plan to have a nice dinner together when he gets home.
