I typically don't start shopping for the holidays UNTIL the holidays.. but i missed out on a lot of just window shopping by waiting till the last minute last year...

so i'm out hunting already for "stuff". i'm still not going to buy until the holiday season starts but at least i'll know what i want to get and can keep an eye out if it starts disappearing....

but...crate and barrel has a lot of cute stuff this year!! have a feeling a good bit of my spare $$ will be going there to dress the house up a bit different this year! haha

anywhere else i should start looking ahead of time??

Well, being from a mixed heritage, I have things that reflect my total background. For my mom's side, I love nutcrackers. I only collect real ones made in Germany from Steinbach. I have tree ornaments from them too. From my dad's side, we don't do any of that. We have a Menorah.
