Default what are YOU doing for halloween?

gonna stay home and let the ol'man take the kids trick-er-treating? or gonna dress up yourself and go to a halloween party?

what are your plans for you & family this year? I have no plans as of yet... might go on a weekend trip but loads are not looking great quite yet... would rather get dressed up and go to a party.. but has anyone else besides me noticed how expensive it's getting to buy or rent a costume?

alright...here's your $5 costume - you gotta think like a college kid with no money to come up with this stuff

Crayola Crayon.

dress all in one color
go to the fabric store and get felt in a slightly lighter shade of your color.
on 2 pieces write "crayola" with a sharpie (or paint or whatever)
on another piece write what your color is
pin the crayola to the front and back of our shirt and the color to your leg
for the point, go get one of those cheap party hats and cover it with the felt (duct tape or staples work well)

voila! you're a crayon.

I'm just gonna try and stay away from the candy.

I did.. we didn't even trick or treat this year.. but i did watch the kids a bit go from house to house around our culdesac...

the reason i didn't trick or treat? our house is on a culdesac and is unlit so we never get that many kids as it is... and 3 of our neighbors weren't going to be home so we figured we wouldn't have any anyways and I'm horribly bad when it comes to candy in the house! hahahaha
