Default Rehearsal Dinner in Philly?

Hey Philly area ladies, or maybe if anyone went to a wedding in that area,

Any ideas for rehearsal dinner locations? We want to try and go to a local place rather than a chain. Hopefully somewhere south of the city or around Wilmington. Even only inviting immediate families, grandparents, and wedding party brings us to almost 40 people.

We were thinking a backyard thing, but I dont want DFs parents to feel like they had no part in this whole celebration since its hard because theyre not from the area. We looked into having a big BBQ at a state park but they say you cant have alcohol, so that was a no go. I bet people do it all the time but we dont want to worry or put his parents in that spot. So it seems like a restaurant is our best bet.

But if anyone has an idea for something other than a restaurant, do tell! Any ideas would be appreciated!

We do have Dave and Buster's but they wouldn't like a place that's so loud, you know? I think that might be a stopping place for the bachelorette party though if we don't go down the shore

I don't see that they offer the gardens for "rent". But Winterthur does!
