| Member | I'm turning 50 yrs old on the 14th of December and I've never had a birthday party, though I've hosted dozens for family (incl DH) and friends. So far there's been no mention from family of doing a party for me (despite my having told my husband I'd like a party) so I'm thinking of doing it myself. QUESTION: Is that weird? A "social no-no"? Desperate? Since it's December I guess I could have a holiday theme, and since everyone who knows me knows my passion for helping homeless animals I was even thinking of asking guests to being an item of pet food to donate to the local Humane Society. What I'm looking for from the JetGirls community is some honest feedback about this, and maybe some ideas. Thanks in advance for your time! Lori
