I just ordered mine (I can't sew to save my life) from buycostumes.com

At first DS and DD wanted to be something together (Star Wars) but have since decided on Star Wars for him and a pink witch for her. I hate spending that kind of money, but it's alot easier than driving to Target/Meijer/Kohl's/Halloween Express the day before.

If any of you are crafty and make your own, I would love to see some photos.

My triplets love TeleTuubbies - so that is what they are going to be. Emily is going to join them, and the baby is going to be the sunshine that they show with the baby in the middle. Emily watches the show and knows all their names and which one she thinks she is and each of her siblings. Pesonally, the show makes me insane - but they are mezmorized!!

Last year they were all animals... the year before- flowers and a bumble bee. Doesn't DS just looked thrilled?

Angela, that show drives me crazy too! But if Emily sees it when i'm flipping channels we HAVE to watch it! She's mesmerized by it too! When I had bad m/s I would put OnDemand on and watch it all day! Poor kid, didn't get much exercise, but it was the only show that allowed me to get some rest. Adorable pics, btw.

As for costumes, I like the pilot/fa, or you could do Diego and Dora, or different colored M&M's.

Tanya - I could lose my mind when they show a little clip of a couple of English kids at the beach, and the when it is over, throw their arms in the air and scream, "Again, Again." And they show it again - aww... come on, I sat through it once, give me a break!!

Once my brother and I were M & M's. My mother made the costumes using a hula hoop for the frame.

They are so cute. And it looks like a smart costume for weather...can layer underneath. That was always a concern in our costumes.

I am still amazed that you all have a say in what your kids are going to be...mine has his own ideas, and that is what he goes as, he would rather stay home than wear something he didn't agree with. He really wants to be a storm trooper from star wars, and will buy the costume himself. of course a week ago it was a WWI pilot. my son is obcessed with the world wars. Last Sat. he came running into the bedroom and told DH that he had to get up RIGHT now because the miltary channel had a show on the WWII planes. Yep the miltary channel over cartoons in our house...i'm not sure he is normal

Totally unrelated to Halloween, but I can relate to your son's interest in the WW's. We have been through that phase. I learned way more with my son on the WW's than I ever did in any history class in high school. From the WW's he moved onto US Presidents where he checked out EVERY book and video on the US Presidents and even asked the librarian at the customer service counter when they would have something new to check out. At this time he was 7 and even had an autographed photo (framed) of George and Laura Bush in his bedroom. It has been quite a conversation piece to walk into a child's bedroom and see the President and First Lady framed on his desk. There have been other phases; the Titanic, World Aircraft and now Nascar. I love that he loves to learn and that he will check out library books for fun- and read them!! I'll take a book over cartoons any day!

Ah, the last time I let Emily choose, she was 4, and in Pre-School. She had to have a costume based on an Eric Carle book.... so I check out about 10 of his books and let her choose. She wants to be the butterfly. I made an awesome costume, while PG with triplets.. in the front it was a catapillar, and on the back it was the butterfly. I had a head dress- everything. She HATED it, would not smile for a single picture. I was ticked!! I put way too much work into - now - I choose, and I do go with a theme!!
