Memorial Day plans? - Page 2

I would skip a trip with such a short layover- that's just too much rush!!

Nick really liked going to Madrid. Tell Doug to check out a place called the "Bull Bar" (Ok I think that's the name!). It soundsbizarre- there are pictures everywhere of people getting gored by bulls at bullfighting events. Ewww! Not what I want to look at when I'm trying to unwind. Nick said it was interesting and there is a pic of one guy who was gored down below and one of his "boys" was up near his face. Again, EWW!

DH is off tomorrow until Monday. He will head up to our house on the lake tomorrow morning (he gets home late tonight) and then I will meet him after school on Friday. His parents also have a house up there (2 houses down) so everyone will be up (his sisters and brother and families). Our 3 year old nephew can't wait to go swimming with uncle Brendan! He loves him! My parents are also going to stop by Sunday so I can show my daddy my garden (DH helped me plant a garden up there 2 weeks ago...hoping something started to grow this week!).

I am so excited it is almost June. School is out June 18th and then I can spend all summer reading and sitting on the beach! Tough life huh!

DH has family coming in to visit. DH only has Mon and Tuesday off next week, so we will be spending all our time over at his parents with his visiting family.

DH comes home on Saturday. I've been doing so much traveling this month, I just want to stay home, plant my flowerpots and enjoy my birthday! We'll probably take a motorcycle ride and enjoy the beautiful weather we're having!

change of plans...we have been working on the house for the past couple of days, i'm ready for a break, and all i really want to do, is cook a good ole' steak, on our $15 grill!! hahaha...we bought this on sale grill at Lowe's last year, and it's still cookin good food!!!
