first stumbling block!

So while I've been in Utah, my dress came in and my mom picked it up. Well, I'm at home now and while I'm here I put it on, and it's too short! You can see almost all of my bare foot!

So, we took it back to the shop that we got it from and they measured it (on me) and said yep, it was only 48.5 inches instead of 50 from the hollow of my neck to the hem of the dress! (yes i am that short...)

so they are going to call the company on Tuesday and send it back to have it fixed/remade. Luckily there's still 6 months before the wedding, so I'm not really concerned, but I am really glad I put it on and found this out now rather than later!
