Vegas Wedding

Hi everyone,

My fiance and I got engaged and initially were planning to do the big, traditional wedding...but after a few weeks of planning, we decided we would prefer to go to Vegas with immediate family and tie the knot there.

I have started the initial review of all of the hotels and wedding chapels and am overwhelmed by all of the choices. Neither of us have ever been to Vegas, so I was wondering if anyone on the site has any recommendations...good, bad...anything!

I am looking to find a great hotel, as close to the strip as possible, but want to try to consider the budgets of our guests and not book an incredibly expensive hotel either. (We are hoping to have everyone stay at one hotel)

Also needs to be kid-friendly.

Any ideas would be appreciated...we hope to do this in October 2008.
