Lazy Breakfast Casserole

Kristie | | Time: No idea but not overly long Difficulty: Easy (IMO) Serving Size: 6 | Description: Perfect for a holiday morning if you don't feel like cooking
as it has everything all wrapped inside. Make this dish the
night before.
For Low Cholesterol Version: use turkey sausage and egg
substitute equivalent to 8 eggs and decrease milk to 1-1/2
cups.
| | Ingredients: | - 4 slices of bread,
- including crust
- 4 cups cooked bulk
- sausage or ham
- 1-1/2 cups grated
- cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2-3 dashes pepper
| | Preparation: | - Thoroughly grease 9"x13" baking pan
| | Instructions: | - tear up bread and layer on bottom of greased pan
- top wit cooked (!) sausage or ham
- sprinkle cheddar cheese over meat
- beat eggs and add milk, salt and pepper
- pour egg mixture over top of cheese/meat (in pan)
- cover and place in the fridge overnight
- next morning, place casserole in 325 degree oven and
- bake 40-50 minutes until knife inserted in center comes
- out clean.
