Easy Pecan Pie
Author: katbuad
Time:
15 mins prep, 55 mins cook
Difficulty:
Easy
Serving Size:
1 9 inch deep dish pie
Description:
Pecan pie better than mom makes. Easy to make and comes out perfect every time.
Ingredients:
  1. 1 & 1/2 cup pecan pieces
  2. 3 eggs
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 3/4 cup corn syrup
  5. 2 tbsp melted butter
  6. 1 tps vanilla
  7. 1/2 tsp salt
  8. 1 9 inch deep dish frozen pie shell
Instructions:
  1. Spread pecans on bakesheet and place in oven 350 for 8-10 mins.
  2. Beat eggs.
  3. Mix all ingrediants including pecans and eggs.
  4. Pour mixture into pie shell.
  5. Bake 350 55 mins total, but after 20 mins cover with foil to prevent excessive browning. (This is the key, I have used it for other pies too.)
