I got the job... I cannot believe it...but i freekin' got the absolute bomb diggity of a job!

I figured i'd have to wait months for this to come down the pipe, certainly didn't expect it this soon....somehow, someway the stars must have been aligned or something?!

anyways, I'll be a Senior Transportation Planner. no more straight design or cadd work for me.. i'll be a project manager! I'll be helping build the transportation planning section up from the ground up which is pretty darn exciting...

I'll be making 5K over what i was making at old company... so MANY more benefits than i ever got with old company...and one of the best parts (there's more than one really)... they were willing to work with me so that i can work on my self improvement items until January.

that means i'll only be working PART time until i'm either ready to go full time or until Jan of next year.

So, they get to have a new employee that can work part time on the current projects and can be put into the proposals, interviews, marketing items...while i get to work on my fitness goals, planning certification, travel goals and website goals! it's a total win win situation!!

better yet...the company works totally on flex hours (they're very family oriented and understand the whole travel thing and how hubby's schedule works - gotta be frank/honest in these interviews so you can try to get what you can) and they're moving north in November and will be located at Desert Ridge which means i'll only be 15 minutes from HOME!

Best thing EVER... i'm fricken moving UP in the world....unbelievable!!

believe it or not.. it's a small office but NOT a small firm.. helluva lot larger than my last employer nationwide...and all their offices have this structure where the people come first. exactly what makes a company a winner...

it's weird how opportunity strikes like that...last week, i was a statistic... this week, newly employed with probably one of the best dream jobs ever...one step closer to my "dream" lifestyle!!
