So glad to have found you all - had no idea this was out here until this week! I have been married to my husband for 9 years and have been with him for 12 years. Met him as a new graduate from college and have been with him through all the ups and downs of starting his aviation career! We have a wonderful son and are in the process of adopting again so hope to add to our little clan soon. Right now we are based in Chicago.

Can't wait to "meet" all of you online and share this amazing and crazy life!

Both dh and I are orignally from Chicago subarbs...Mokena, and Homer Glen. Dh is based in IAH and we live in ABQ and Houston part time. You'll have to let me know how your adoption goes as we have been kicking around the idea. Welcome!!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Will keep you posted on the adoption...our son was adopted from Guatemala in 2007 and now we are adopting thru Colombia. The process is very long this time and it will be about 3-4 more years! Depending on jobs, finances, etc, there is a chance we might start a domestic adoption too as we wait for our process in Colombia. It is the most wonderful way to build a family and am open to any questions or anything you might have! Feel free to PM me!
