Hi,
My name is Amber and I am engaged to an ASA FO. We are actually getting married in 3 days!! We've been together for exactly one year on Friday (our wedding day). We actually have Jetcareers to thank, for us meeting each other. My best friend is a member of the site and she actually met him there and introduced us. We met October 30, 2008 and we will be married October 30, 2009. We are both very excited and can't wait!! We have one dog (Sampson) and one cat (Frankenstein) those are our children for the forseable future and they keep us pretty busy. We currently live in Little Rock even though he is based in ATL. We are moving in with my parents for a couple months (pray for us) until I can wrap things up with my job and then we are moving to the Asheville, NC area. Of course with the new flying that ASA is getting and the talk of a new base our plans may change. So we, like many others i'm sure, are just waiting on the news.
I know how much my fiance loves flying and how much support he gets from Jetcareers so I really felt like I should find a group who knows the ins and outs of this lifestyle so I can learn as we go. So, I can't wait to get connected!!!

Oh that's really cool, that you work for NOAA, I don't suppose you can make the rain go away on Friday? We are having an outdoor wedding so that would really help. But I suppose it doesn't really work like that.

Congratulations on your marriage you are coming up on 1 year pretty soon. That's wonderful! How do you like Atlanta? DF has a crashpad there but neither one of us are really city lovers so we decided against a more permanent move there.

Um...actually we aren't having bridesmaids Pam they all got really big heads and started upstaging me so i kicked them out. Just kidding. For anyone who is the slightest bit interested Pam is one of my bridesmaids she is actually the one who introduced me to my DF.

Wish I could. We had a bit of rain at our wedding, too. Just roll w/the punches ... rain may make the day even more memorable.
