| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | After the wedding Iw ill be moving down to Champaign-Urbana since John still has a bit of school left. This has really worried me about work, since I have no professional contacts down there at all. Well yesterday I got a return call from the Superintendent of a rural district down there to set up an interview. So now I will be heading down central Illinois on Tuesday to interview for a teachign position. I am really excited, and super nervous. |

| Do you need sample interview questions or are you ok? If you do, what is the exact position--teaching anything specific, age group, etc.? |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | I am interviewing for a fourth grade elementary position and a middle school language arts position. Any potential questions you know of I would definitely appreciate. They said to expect about an hour and a half for the interview, and that it will be videotaped |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | So I had the interview on Tuesday...it ended up taking like 3 hours. At the end of it one of the guys asked me why I was selling books and not teaching yet, which I took as a good sign (along with the fact that it took so long.) They asked me to return to th eloby for a few minutes, then they came back and got me and offered me the job. So I must say it is a major relief. I have a full tiem permanent teaching position starting in August, so I will not have to worry about being able to afford a place to live. And DH2B and I may even be able to support his flying habit(ok so its more but I was amusing myself) fairly significantly. (now if we could just add some more multi time to his totals we would really be on a roll. |
