|  Hi Ladies!! Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself!! My name is Sara and I am currently living in Houston with my husband (Expressjet) After recently finding this website through another board, I decided to join. It is so nice to see the opinions of women who deal with a life as a pilot's wife/girlfriend. I hope to engage in chats and form relationships with many of you in the near future.  |

I lived in Flint from 1980-1991 (2 years old through 7th grade). I know, Flint ... I should be embarrassed.  Now I live in CA w/ fiance. We're getting married in October. He's an FO for Mesaba. We're looking to relocate pretty soon after the wedding, though ... Anyway ... WELCOME! |

| Re: Hi Ladies!! I see that there are alot of fellow wolverines on this site!! Congrats on the wedding this fall. I got married last October - it is a great month to get married!! Man do I miss the change in seasons up there!! Houston is great for a month or two and then it can be just plain miserable. I don't think my hair has gotten used to the humidity yet either so I am not happy with that. Anyways..thanks for replying!! |

 | Re: Hi Ladies!! Welcome to the board! I began lurking here on the board when Nick and I were dating and he was still a flight instructor. Since then he worked at Mesa and now at Continental. We thought about living in IAH but decided it made more sense to move back to the East Coast where we were from and have Nick get based in EWR (since nobody wants to be there!). We want to start a family and since we have our families in the area that will make things easier. Welcome!

| Re: Hi Ladies!! Welcome! My dh also works for xjt, we just go back from houston we went there for the winter, apparently dh didn't know it got cold here when we moved here! I'll agree with you on houston weather by the end of april I decided it was too hot there!! Where abouts in houston do you live? We lived in Magnolia for 2 years when he upgraded and stayed with friends in Conroe this past year..

| Re: Hi Ladies!! HI Sara! I am also a newbie and I am pretty excited to be part of this team. I actually called my husband this morning at 5am when I found this site. Hehe! He left for a 3 day trip at 4am since he had to drive 2 hrs to get to his base. I am also excited to meet new friends and be able to part of the forums. I certainly have a lot of things I want to discuss. It is not easy being married to a pilot! I cant wait to share all of my feelings! |
