| I'm relatively new to the site -checked a few of the threads already but thought I introduce myself. I'm Elena, and I've been dating Casey for almost 2 years now. He's a CA on reserve for XJET out of EWR. I'm a graduate student at Penn State, and we both live now in State College, PA. Nice to meet you all! It is great having this site around. |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | Hi Elena! Welcome! Thanks for doing both the "get to know ya" thread and this one! it's much appreciated in getting to find information about a member quickly in order to make sure we're responding correctly to questions or what not. ![]() Bucharest huh?! I've been there....they need some help with their tourism industry still BUT they were all VERY friendly to us and i know it's going to take them some time to get things in order. In no time (maybe once they start upping their tourism word of mouth), they should start getting more and more visitors to the country! ![]()

| Thank you for the warm welcome. Penn State is a fun place to be for school... Kristie, you are right! Romania is still a developing country and there is a lot of room for improvements to be made. Bucharest has changed in the past few years, and I'm not sure if it's much in a positive way - maybe now that we joined the European Union things will start to get fixed . I love going back to places in the central part...beautiful landscapes, food and also really nice people in the Transylvania area. If you go back let me know, and I can recommend you some great things to do and see. |
