Yes, I know of St. Augustine High. Our neighborhood is zoned for Nease High School not that my kids are close to being in high school yet but I'm sure your husband knows Nease. I have never bought a car in St. Augustine oddly enough. I have always bought vehicles in Jax...my best friends family owns a dealership so the price is usually right. I love St. Augustine Beach, our favorite restaurant is the conch house.

Hi Shannon welcome, I am new too. My husband currently flies for chautauqua and is based out of saint louis. We live in mpls but we used to live in lake mary florida while he was in flight school at delta connection academy. I am still wondering as to why i moved from sunny florida to a state where it snows six months out of the year..

Hi & thanks for the welcome. My Dh use to fly for Chautauqua. His last base was CMH before that MCO and LGA. We really miss the MCO base and being able to drive to work for 3 yrs....ahhhh! I'm sure you will be happy that you are in MN when the hot hot humid summer is in full force :-)

Welcome to the group. We have been living in Jax for the last two years. My hubby also used to do the cross-country commute, to Southern CA for XJET. Right now he's on medical leave for the forseeable future though. Prior to living here in FL, we lived in... Oakland, CA! We have a son who turns 6 on April 1st.

PM me and we'll get together with the kids some time.

Hey,, how long ago was your hubby at Delta Connection Academy? I worked there as an Admissions Officer for more than three years and my hubby was a student and instructor there. I bet they know eachother,,, what's hubby's name?

Actually my husband didn't go to the Delta Academy he went to Embry Riddle in Daytona. He worked for Chautauqua before Southwest and he was fortunate enough to hold Orlando for 3+ years when he made Captain before they closed the base. He did flight instructor in Daytona for a few months before switching to St. Augustine to flight instruct.

WELCOME! we are up here in Charlotte, NC...bf just started with Republic, and we are frequent visitors to Vero Beach, his parents live there, and my furry child and I are hoping to spend a couple of weeks there in the summer! great to have you here!
