Default New to the Site

Hi everyone I am new to the site, I found it through facebook. My name is Michelle and I am 30 years old and my husband is a Ca for chautauqua and based out of Saint Louis. He has been with the company for 3 years. We live in Saint Paul, Mn. and have been married for 2 years but together for 7. I was living with him in Fl while he was in flight school. He proposed to me the day before he left for training for chautauqua and then was gone for 6 weeks. That was hard.

I am currently going back to school to get my teaching license. I have taught pre-k in private schools but now want to teach public. I am student teaching in the fall.

When my husband is gone my horse keeps me company. I run barrels for money with my quarter horse. I compete all over the state of Mn, Wi, Sd and Ia. I am gone every weekend April through November. I love it and don't know what I would do if I didn't have my horse. It works out great b/c he is gone most of the time on the weekends.

We also have a mini aussie named Apple. I love her to death and she keeps me company when daddy is gone. She goes to the horse shows with me.

I hope to meet many of you and if there are any other wives that live in Minnesota I would love to hear from you. I really like the site so far and can relate to many of you.

Hi Michelle! We're out in California. Fiance flies for Mesaba out of MSP. So he spends a fair bit of time in your neck of the woods. There's a possibility we may move that way in a year or so ... but nothing is decided or set it stone. Just in the talking stages so far.

Enjoy that horse!

Hey Thanks everybody for the welcome. It's nice to meet a bunch of nice girls. I look forward to getting to know you all. As I have been reading some of the post on here, I sometimes find myself laughing because I am like "Yup, I have been through that."

I told my husband how some of you have flown on your hubby's flights and he was like "hum, I am going to have to block that site." He was kidding of course b/c I am always bugging him to go with.

Hi and WELCOME! Have you never been with your hubby on one of his flights? If not, why? I absolutley loved tagging along with him on many of his layovers, especially the longer ones where we actaully were able to do something. I have not had the pleasure of going along with him since he upgraded as Capt. but only because Im pregnant and have been so sick lately, but I do hope to go on at least one before our baby arrives. Keep bugging him! He'll cave in eventually....im only kidding ofcourse! But you will love it, it's really cool.

Hello! Glad you're here!

BF just got his commercial license and is working on getting on with a regional at this point. I'm graduating from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in fine arts (emphasis in painting) and hope to teach some day and write children's books!

I absolutely LOVE horses and dream of one day when I'll have my own
