| Hi! I'm new to JetGirls! My husband of nine years is a pilot for NetJets and we have two precious children. Our daughter is 5 and our son is almost 3. We had a wonderful marriage up until two and a half years ago when I was diagnosed with a severe case of Post Pardem Depression after delivering my son, we moved to MD, my father passed, and we landed in a messy seperation. All was a mess!!! However, happliy we survived without divorce and I have journeyed through the terrible PPD. With meds and medical professionals I came through it in one piece (Brooke Shiled's Book Down Came the Rain became my favorite written work and I suggest it to all families that are struggling with this terrible experience). My husband and I have happily reconciled, moved back to Ohio, and have rediscovered our wonderful life and family! We even took a second honeymoon and renewed our vows on our 8th anniversary. We are lucky to say the least! I enjoy being a pilot's wife although it is definitely rough at times. I have a masters degree in education and taught middle school English for years but we decided that it was all too complicated having me work once our daughter was born while he was on tours. So we made the choice for me to stay at home and it makes life much more manageable! I'd love to connect with other pilot wives as I only have one connection with another woman who lives this lifestyle.... Happy New Year!!!
