Welcome aboard Marissa!

so you say you have concerns about his new job....feel free to start a new thread on that so we can help you through the transition....it's hard for the pilot to go thru the transition while in ground school, it's just as hard for us to be there for them and understand what they're going through much less what we're going through!

to answer a few questions and give some more info. im 22 years old. im living in long beach, california. im a student at cal state long beach studying to be teacher (hopefully kindergarten). so for now i switch jobs all the time til then. soon im going to be starting a college aid job for long beach unified school district.my boyfriend is going to be a first officer (on reserve) for spirit airlines flying an airbus 319 i think. we have been together for almost 4 years most have been long distance. me in cali and him in florida. hes from cali and i met him in high school. im flying out to florida in a few days to see him graduate from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. im so proud of him.

spirit is based in florida. he is going to be commuting from cali. any advice on how to deal with that or ideas on what i will be facing.do we have a chance of working out?

How funny, I will be attending a ERAU gradutation this weekend too, although my hubby will be participating in the ceremonies in Prescott, AZ.

Have fun and Congratulations on all of the new exciting adventures.
