Default Newbie from Canada

A big from Canada! Just a little note to introduce myself. As my 'handle' would indicate, I am indeed wife #3. But being a girl with a sense of humor, I continue to take all jokes regarding my status in stride. Thanks for allowing me to join your group. I will continue to lurk for a while and check out what everyone has been talking about. No doubt I will have a few things to say.

Later,
Pat

Hi Pat -
Welcome to the board! I'm Gina, friend to Will and he's an FO for Southwest. Too funny that you call yourself #3; have you seen the film "Pushing Tin"? I just watched it a few weeks ago and the wives introduce themselves by what number they are.

What part of Canada are you from? I've visited Vancouver and Toronto (enjoyed them both) and have an invite to Edmonton, but evidently there's not much there other than my friend (or so she says). See ya around the board!

Welcome #3! Oh how I like the CanadaLand! I grew up in MI so Windsor and Toronto were very close. I've also spent quite a bit of time in Montreal. Now its time to get to Jasper and Banff!! Lovely!

Hey guys! Well, originally I'm from western Canada Okay, the cows out west aren't usually green and dancing, but hey....

We moved around with my dad's employment (nope - not military) and finally landed in Ontario. In fact, I lived in Ontario (Toronto - or for those of you in the know - Torannaaa) since 1971. Before any of you start counting the years, I was young....very, very young.

I know live in Quebec with my second husband...ooops missed time line....married young, had four kids...booted 1st husband out...went back to school....met my second husband through friend at university...memo to self - never speak to friend again

To continue, he had 2 kids...married twice before...so I guess "three times the charm" is really true

Moved to Quebec City about two years ago for a better 'quality of life'. Better schools, programs for my daughter who is special needs. And I learned french in high school so I'd be able to cope, right......

Okay, so I'm still working on the french thing, but I LOVE it here. Hubby is bilingual, have great friends who don't laugh too hard at my feeble attempts.

Looking forward to chatting...

Welcome!

My mother and her side of the family is Canadian. I'm hoping to convince my pilot to move up to BC in the next decade, or maybe western europe (but that'd be a LOT harder to convince him to do LOL). My mom's side of the family is currently mostly in Saskatchewan, but I have a great aunt and some cousins in around Edmonton. Beautiful country, it's been too long since I've visited!
