Hi new gals!

I noticed that there are some new gals on the board who posted in the "Get to know ya" thread. Feel free to post a new topic or tell us more about you!

I joined 4 years ago and lurked for a bit before registering/posting. I have been with my fiance since he was a flight instructor in AZ. We had a long distance relationship during part of our 5 years together when he was with Mesa but when he started at CAL in January we decided to move to the East Coast (where we are from). The finance company where I work is based in PA so I transferred.

Hi Amanda,

I'm Jen.
I've been here since Feb 2007 and don't think I ever filled one of these out.
I'm not "new" but I'll take a turn.....

My DH is a Simulator Instructor/Checkairman for Comair and is based in CVG.
We have 2 kids, daughter Ava is 4 yrs old and son Cullen is 8 yrs old. Plus a 14 yr old cat named Hampton.
I'm a SAHM.
I do have my real estate license, but it's currently in escrow until my kids get a little older. (It was way too hard working crazy hours with no family nearby or a babysitter available on short notice.)

Hello new ladies!!

I too have been wanting to post a hello or copy your "get to know ya" threads into new topics but have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off in regards to NetworkJC stuff which is coming up this weekend.

So i apologize about not being on here as often as i normally am...and as soon as wednesday of next week comes up, i'll be rockin' and rollin' with photos and stories of "what should have been left in Vegas"!

We have 75 confirmed attendees right now... well over double what we had last year and i am SOOOOO looking forward to meeting all the new folks!!

Yesterday and Today, I spent up in Laughlin for a business thing.. first overnight with the team in regards to a project we're working on in Bullhead City. Neat town, strange folk.. hahaha...but i still had a good time!

My hubby is a Delta FO on the 767 flying over the pond for about 9-12 days out of the month. He's absolutely LOVING it... altho, he has admitted to not liking Moscow that much and absolutely loving Istanbul when loads permit. I try to travel along as much as i can with consideration to the 9-5 job i have (transportation planning)...We live in Scottsdale, AZ and have 3 cats... are going to be putting garage cabinets in the garage soon (YES! STORAGE!

) and will be having some pool designers come over soon to start the backyard work (I'll let you all know when the pool party will be

). In my spare time (if i ever have any), I'm a soap opera wannabe and a computer geek at heart.. i love to read, just never get a chance too unless it's work related (how fun...) and i absolutely love to travel. My favorite food, unfortunately for the hubby, is still tofu. hahaha

So... tell us more about yourselves?! details details...is what we need..comeon.. spill it... hehe

Hi there my name is LaShawnda and I have just registered, I have been with my husband for about 4 years and since he was a private pilot and that first solo! He is a FO for Express Jet and we have 2 DS with a D/S on the way! We have no pets, (cant keep up) and I am a nurse in the Kansas City area. Thank you for the welcomes and look forward to chatting with you all
