|  Howdy Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Thrilled I found others that can relate to the "interesting" life choices that are uniquely ours! I have been married 5 years to an ExpressJet pilot CA. He is based out of Newark and I got a job relatively close by so we live in NJ. Last October we had a son - so I am really struggling with trying to move up in my career, finding time to clean, breathe, you know the drill  I look forward to reading your posts on how you all cope. |

| Re: Howdy Welcome! My SO moved at the end of July and we haven't seen each other yet. I am supposed to go and visit next week. I can't wait! Although he did just tell me that he might have to work on Saturday night while I am there. I am not to happy abou that. I figure if he is working then I am going to go out instead of sit at the apartment by myself. Oh well. The life of being a pilot I guess... |

| Re: Howdy Hello- My name is Christina, I am a SAHM to four little ones ages 3,5,7, and 9. DH, (Dear Husband) is an FO, (looking to make an upgrade in the near future), with Air Wisconsin. Oh yes, we can all completely relate to this aviation lifestyle...as chaotic as it may be- we can all relate! That is what makes this site so wonderful! My family and friends still don't understand this lifestyle (after 6 years)...but these jetgirls do. Feel free to join right in and post away. Welcome! |

| Re: Howdy Hi, I am new here. Been married to my DH for 4 yrs. I am a SAHM to our 2yr old daughter. We have moved 4 different times since we've been married. We are from the awesome state of TX, lived in NY (PBG) for a year and now we are in CLE due to the CommutAir expansion out here. My husband is an FO on the Dash8 and we are thinking upgrade in a few months(keeping our fingers crossed). We've only been here a couple of weeks but I really like it. I joined this group to interact with people that understand the life of a wife of a pilot. Noboby else does!  |

| Re: Howdy Welcome WifeyPoo and CLErocks.... I'm Robyn (8th grade science teacher), my DH is currenlty an EWR CA for ExpressJet (been there since 1999). He just got hired by Southwest in June and is currently "swimming in the pool" waiting on a class date (sometime next year.....). DH was based in CLE for a long time....loved being based there (small base and easier commute) but had to move to EWR this year due to shrinking lines (and wouldn't you know rumor is EWR will start to shrink more and more and CLE will get more flying.....he just can't win!). We are expecting our first baby in January....baby boy! I will be taking at least a year or two off from teaching, it will be so nice to be able to stay home with baby boy. This board is great! You will both love it here!
