| My name is Lynsey, and I'm a 22 year old student teacher in North Dakota. I met my pilot last fall. He'd been flight instructing at the University of North Dakota, where I attend school, for a little over two years. He'd been trying to get hired by a regional airline for the whole time, so when we started dating, I joked just after our first kiss that he was now guaranteed to get a call....and eight days later, he got the call for an interview from ASA. It was about six weeks before he actually went on his interview, and then another month before he moved to ATL, but by then, we were committed. He's been back to visit three times since he left Easter weekend, but I haven't had the chance to visit him yet. Because my college is a top flight school as well, most of my friends are pilots, and they don't really have any sympathy for what I'm going through. It's SOOOO nice to find others who know what it's like! |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | Welcome to the board Lynsey! We're a great group here and the ladies are from all over the place... and our guys are flight instructors, regional pilots, charter, major, corporate, freight- you name it! There 's a lot of experience on the board. I joined when my boyfriend was a flight instructor. he then got hired at Mesa and now works for Continental. It's been a RIDE!

| Chi829, I'm definitely glad to see another ASA girl here! TJ is loving ASA right now, and he plans to stay there for his whole career, baring any disastrous changes in the company or industry. He HATES ATL though! He's planning to commute from his hometown of Minneapolis once he gains enough seniority. I haven't been to ATL yet, though, so maybe I'll convince him to stick around a little longer. ![]() |
