Default Hey girls!

My name is Lynsey, and I'm a 22 year old student teacher in North Dakota. I met my pilot last fall. He'd been flight instructing at the University of North Dakota, where I attend school, for a little over two years. He'd been trying to get hired by a regional airline for the whole time, so when we started dating, I joked just after our first kiss that he was now guaranteed to get a call....and eight days later, he got the call for an interview from ASA. It was about six weeks before he actually went on his interview, and then another month before he moved to ATL, but by then, we were committed. He's been back to visit three times since he left Easter weekend, but I haven't had the chance to visit him yet.

Because my college is a top flight school as well, most of my friends are pilots, and they don't really have any sympathy for what I'm going through. It's SOOOO nice to find others who know what it's like!

Welcome to the board Lynsey! We're a great group here and the ladies are from all over the place... and our guys are flight instructors, regional pilots, charter, major, corporate, freight- you name it! There 's a lot of experience on the board. I joined when my boyfriend was a flight instructor. he then got hired at Mesa and now works for Continental. It's been a RIDE!

Hip, Hip Hooray!! Another ASA gal here!Hi Lynsey, and welcome! DH and I live in Panama City, Florida and hes been with ASA just shy of three years! He flies the CRJ-200 and should be upgrading by the end of the year. How is your pilot liking ASA? Plan on going on any of his trips anytime soon? Its fun, and you should if you get a chance to. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Welcome aboard Lynsey!!

please remember to add your info to the Get to know ya (2006-2008) thread so that when people want to look up your info, they can find it if your profile doesn't already list it! (one of these days, i'll get a database up).

Chi829, I'm definitely glad to see another ASA girl here! TJ is loving ASA right now, and he plans to stay there for his whole career, baring any disastrous changes in the company or industry. He HATES ATL though! He's planning to commute from his hometown of Minneapolis once he gains enough seniority. I haven't been to ATL yet, though, so maybe I'll convince him to stick around a little longer.

Hey Lynsey...

I just read your "how you met dh/so" post, and it was quite funny! hahah...it's alright, there a purpose to everything!

I'm Cassie from Concord, NC I have one semester left in my Biology degree...I have a 9mth maltese ( that i am obsessed with )...I live with my BF of 2.5 yrs and together we are remodeling an old house that yes, will make me crazy when we are through......He flies right now for an ex-private pilot of his, who does real estate in the Carolinas, and we have a class date at American Eagle for Sept 8th...for which we will see what happens...

Great to have you here...the ladies are wonderful and smart!

Cassie
