Hi Everyone- my name is Amanda.
My finance Lloyd is pretty popular on Jetcareers.com. He told me I better sign up on some kind of forum to meet some new people... and thought this one would be perfect for me.
Lloyd flies for a frieght company - Flight Express. He is based in St. Louis, MO and I live and work here in Nashville, TN. It's hard having him away, especially when I've never been in a situation like this before.
I'm a manager at a 3000 room hotel here in Nashville. We have a dog named Zeus and Lloyd has a daughter named Vonna who is 9.
I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, going out to dinner and SHOPPING!
I look forward to meeting you all!

We all know your feelings and all manage to cope--but we have each other for the gripes.

I'm the old lady of the board. DH has been flying around since 1980 and we have a 22 year old son (who is not in aviation).

My company is opening an outpatient facility for eating disorders in Nashville! So I will be there a lot in the near future! Could I buy you lunch or dinner?

I believe we met at NetworkJC last year right? How are the wedding plans coming? We got your awesome save the date card - what a neat idea!! it's magnetized to the fridge as we speak!!

Yes Kristie, we met last year at networkJC and Lloyd already has me hotel searching for next year's!
Wedding plans are coming along great. We have a countdown going on on our fridge. 94 days to go.
Hopefully you and Doug can make it out for the big day. Gatlinburg is beautiful if you haven't seen it before. We are actually getting married on a mountaintop. Hopefully it doesn't rain!
