well, NetworkJC was a great success again...the LAS ATC tour was really REALLY neat and it was fun to learn how our guys fly thru the airspace talking to the controllers. quite a few of the ladies went on the ATC tour as well and asked some great questions...we're hoping to do it again next year as well as get the SIMS again.

We had about 30 or so show up and it didn't get as wild/crazy as last year.. it was a lot more classy since it was held in a Bellagio Hospitality Suite. Heck, the suite had a 72" plasma TV which was fun while all the scary movies were on...I even got an opportunity to call down to VIP services and ask for a nuker to be sent up...in less than 5 minutes, it was there along with a few more boxes of chocolate that they apparently like to give out. We were so VIP that we were able to get complimentary passes to LIGHT, which is a dance club in the Bellagio.. it was ok but even better, we all saved $30 on the entrance fee...drinks were expensive and we weren't there long.. just wanted to see what the $30 really bought you and honestly, it wasn't much. The Caramel Lounge was a lot better and you'll see that they dressed up for Halloween. Even one of the employees was wearing a pilot uniform...when you see that photo, look behind and you'll see doug there with a goofy "behind the scenes" shot.

overall, the weekend was long (up till 3am or longer each night), we were all tired but very worthwhile in that we met new folks, got reaquainted with old friends and really helped everyone make good networking contacts for the future. I'm pretty darn pleased with how well everything turned out.
