| Admin/Owner ![]() | ok, so my mom-in-law is coming to town the last weekend in August, i'm not the best of cooks and doug's going to be on a trip.. EEEIIIIIII :hair_rais She's a very sweet natured, stays out of your way, doesn't like to impose black lady and I don't know what I should cook for her...or attempt to cook for her.:speechles I was thinking i'd try a pot roast in the oven (don't have a crock pot) but i don't know of any good "flavorful" recipes..I don't even know what kind of roast to buy but i know i like the type that falls off the bone...she's a meat & potato type woman, loves to grill and loves spicy foods...she's not a big fan of "eating out", yet that's really all I do when dh is gone...it'll be my first time in 3 years (since we got married) that it's just me and her... does anyone have any ideas? I'd like to do something that makes me look like an excellent cook (that i can provide for her boy) or something that just rocks her socks off....what do you all cook when your in-laws come to town? ![]() |
