Fondue Pots...

are the GREATEST invention since sliced bread!!!! no joke.. go get yourself one of the cuisinart electric fondue pots and you won't be sorry!! it's even dishwasher safe which makes cleaning a cinch!

Doug made cheese fondue (from scratch) right out of the recipe from the booklet that came with the fondue pot and OMG was it GOOD! even with my cold, it was the bomb diggity cuz the dry white wine and kirschwasser (german cherry brandy) really unclogged me big time and i felt a ton better (enuff to do 2 games of DDR Extreme)- you don't get drunk off of the cheese fondue, but it does add a kick as the alchohol burns off...of course, i'm coming back down to earth and getting stuffy again, but man.. it was nice to breathe again and just feel GREAT!

we made chocolate fondue after that with some strawberries, pound cake & banana's and it was just like going to the melting pot, but spending less than $40 for dinner for the two of us - plus we have leftover cheese fondue that we can freeze and eat later!!! YUMMMMMMMMMMYYYYYY....

I actually think the fondue we had tonight (made from scratch) was better than the fondue we had in switzerland...

Emily - have you tried your fondue pot yet? that would be awesome to use for a party gathering! whoever got you that had the RIGHT idea!!!! [img]images/graemlins/woot.gif[/img]
