We just bought a new grill. Last summer dh didn't clean out the grease very well and it caught on fire.
Flames were everywhere and I thought the tank was going to explode!!!!

I just had lunch but the sound of everyone's meals is making my mouth water.

Well reading this post made me want to grill. Due to lack of options at the house I just threw brats on and i am making some mac and cheese to go with it. Fancy I know, but after a productive day of clenaing the house and gutters it seems to fit.

To be honest, I am scared to light the damn thing. I hate the noise it makes. Sounds like its gonna flippin blow up!
i can totally relate to that... believe it or not, i have a fear of fire and even my gas oven isn't working correctly (sometimes you have to light it with a match) and when that happens, i don't even get close to it.. doug thinks i'm a wuss cuz i won't light the dang burner with a match.

Our grill does the same type of "whoosh" sound that just FREAKS me out...soi can't wait till we get a new grill - hopefully it won't have that same effect on me! haha

I can SO relate! An ex talked me into getting a huge $350+ grill with side burners and all. There have been a few incidents where me and Nick almost blew ourselves up with a huge fireball. I almost had a heart attack!

Now with our new smaller place we are going to buy a small grill so we can grill I used to grill once a week in AZ.
