Default Tips

Here are some of mine, feel free to add on!

Once a week I slice up cucmbers, tomatoes, and carrots and store them in Tupperwares so that I can have veggies ready at any time for a salad. This helps me eat healthier cause no one wants to chop veggies every day. You can also do this with celery, zucchini and more so you can make tacos, stir fry, or whatever, in a jiffy! (Ok, that sounded corny)

Use sandpaper on your cutting board (the white ones, not wood) when it gets too many grooves, the sand paper will give a smooth surface again.

Use disposable latex gloves and a disposable cutting sheet when cutting onions so you don't even have to bother with the perma stink afterwards.

Put soft cheeses in the freezer before grating so they grate easier instead of just smearing into the blade.

Cascade Booster is my new best friend! It's like $3 at Wal Mart, it will get all the red stains out of your tupperware containers and rubber spatuals from tomato sauce!

Make your own baby food, sauces, gravy, etc and freeze it in ice cube trays, then take it out as you need it, instead of making from scratch every time or buying jars and cans that don't get used before they go bad.

Use an ice cream scoop to make meatballs if you don't like handling the raw meat.
