| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | I used to only eat iceberg until I learned it had no nutritional value....now I love romaine and spinach also! I usually will buy a bag of salad mix that has a mix of salad greens. It is easier since I like the different kinds of greens and if I bought each separately they would go bad in my fridge ![]() |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | it's amazing how quickly salad will go bad!! the only salad that doesn't go bad quickly is 7 layer salad and doug won't eat that cuz he calls it "wisconsin white food" hahahaha which, btw, is true...based on my wisci background and talking to all my midwest relatives! haha |

| Romaine, spinach, are both great alternatives.. even leaf lettuce has more than head lettuce.
