Re: New Girl Here Ha, not only did I move to Jax with him, but I cosigned the loan and am supporting him right now. Yep, a Suger Momma's life for me. In reality, it was the right time in my life to make a clean break from where I was, so it was a turining point and good opportunity for us both.
Jax is not too horrible. It's not as bad a change, coming from San Francisco, as I expected it to be. So I guess that's good. I do enjoy the beaches here. But in the end, I am not really attached it it here. I'm kind of looking forward to a nomadic lifestyle for a few years. I would be much more unhappy being settled with him gone then being with him and unsettled.
We haven't done any traveling in the 7 months we have been here. At this point, just happening on to a new neighborhood is adventure enough of us. But I am looking forward to a trip back to CA next month. Nothing says fun like flying cross country with a kid in tow. Especially when you have enough seniority to score you and the kid a first class seat (thanks Dad!). I always feel guilty for giving a prime seat to a kid who doesn't appreciate it when I see all the other non-rev's getting on. But not so guilty that I want to give up my mimosa. I'll be back at the bottom of the list flying on future husbands seniority soon enough.
